Bud Light Platinum label approved
Beer Marketers Insights reported Bud Light Platinum as being in the works in September. It’s hard to say where on the grid Anheuser-Busch is positioning this beer against competitors. The label doesn’t give away much.

No way it could be a “light beer” with a 6% ABV…not to mention having only 137 calories. Something is off.
John – that is correct. The point is you can get drunk faster, but it still has less calories than a standard 5% abv lager. Not sure how they will market it, since “get drunk faster” may not fly.
Sorta like the “light” Sam Adams. Point is it’s not.
