Shmaltz Brewing up over 25% in sales this year (video)
Beverage Executive Magazine caught up with a few brewers at a recent event in New York. Most notable was a brief chat with Shmaltz Brewing Founder, Jeremy Cowan. Cowan said that the company will sell about 140,000 cases in 2011, its 15th year. That translates to just over 10,000 barrels or over 25% growth from sales in 2010.
Shmaltz is currently sold in 30 states in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Cowan said that Shmaltz will soon expand distribution to Japan and the UK.
