Report: Cigar City plans to add cans, new year-round six-packs

Once complete, the new (30 barrel) system will allow for an extra 400 barrels of fermentation capacity and a total capacity of 25,000 barrels. This can be scaled up to 50,000+ barrels when needed.

They are also looking at a rotary bottle filling line and a canning system. Early plans are to can Jai Alai IPA and Florida Cracker White Ale. And they also want to add two six pack offerings to their year-round lineup and one of those looks like it will be Tocobaga, their hoppy red ale, a recipe designed by lead brewer, Tim Ogden.
