Dogfish Head expansion update: public hearing set for Dec. 14
Town planners have given Dogfish Head its blessing. Now it’s onto the town council.
The only plan for the land, so far, Benz said, is the construction of a 20,000- to 30,000-square-foot warehouse that would serve as overflow for parts and raw materials.
He hopes it will be completed by the end of 2012 so it will be available for the 2013 brewing and calendar years. Dogfish Head presently uses an offsite warehouse in Milford.
Benz called the Commission’s vote a good and necessary first step.
