Pearl Jam fans came together to lobby for Dogfish Head beer

(Milton, DE) – A cool spinoff to last night’s story about Dogfish Head doing a beer for Pearl Jam Twenty

The Faithfull Ale partnership doesn’t appear to have just come out of thin air.

A fan of the band started a thread on the Pearl Jam message board in January. Soon after the thread picked up some interest, “emails were sent to the band, their pr department, their management and DFH,” according to one reader of Beernews.org and Pearl Jam fan.

The rest is history…or soon to be.

Dogfish Head isn’t the only craft brewery celebrating Pearl Jam Twenty either. Three screenings of Pearl Jam Twenty to be held at The Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens next month are already sold out.
