Einstök Beer Co. coming soon to America
Whenever I see a sleek-looking label design from an upcoming microbrewery, it is an indication (at least to me) that the brewery knows what it is doing. That said, it’s concerning to see a write-up on a new brewery with little attention to its beers.
The product, described as “Icelandic Pale Ale”, will soon be available at markets reaching 40 million consumers and the plan is to make Einstök the country’s best known export product in the next three to five years, Morgunbladid reports.
Breweries: Einstök Beer Co.
I have just returned from a trip to Reykjavik and encountered this brand locally. I am not sure which beer they intend to import to the States, but the Pale Ale that I had there was very clean: a well rounded- beer with a nice finish.
Does anyone know where it will be sold? I would be interested in getting my local pub (O’Brian’s in San Diego) to carry it.
Not sure where Pacific Palisades is in CA but there is an importer there that is bringing it into the States. Hope that helps.
Thanks Adam- Just found out with a little researching that it is to be distributed in California by Wine Warehouse beginning in February.
Stay tuned! Beer is on the water heading to California – our first launch in the US. Three beers will be available: White Ale, Pale Ale and Toasted Porter! Visit us at http://www.einstokbeer.com for updates! Thanks for future support!
