Dundee Festive Ale: Label copy…”Winter ales are as old as winter itself. Well – not really. But pretty close. They go all the way back to 650 AD. In those days, brewers didn’t have hops to preserve the beer. So they used spices. Even tree bark. Dundee continues this tradition with Festive Ale- a hearty and full-bodied ale- brewed with nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon and orange peel spices (sorry, no tree bark) to create a complex but subtle flavor perfect for occasions as cold as the beer itself.”

Mother’s Winter Grind Coffee Stout: “We’ve combined the smooth, rich goodness of a stout with our cold-brewed espresso blend, roasted for us by our coffee-loving neighbors at the Mudhouse.”

Peak Organic The Maple Collaboration: “Peak Maple Collaboration is a truly local project. It’s a new twist on our previously Maple Oat Ale. We worked with local farmers and small businesses to craft this beer with Maine-grown organic oats from GrandyOats and Vermont-produced organic maple syrup from Butternut Mountain Farms.

The Maple Collaboration is a copper-colored brew with a dynamic mouth feel from the organic oats and a subtle richness in the finish from the organic maple syrup. The beer is in support of Chef’s Collaborative, the nation’s leading environmentally conscious culinary organization.”
