Olde Burnside releases Amazing Grace

(East Hartford, CT) – Olde Burnside Brewing is proud to announce the release of its newest beer, “Amazing Grace Ale.”

Head Brewer Joe Lushing has taken the award winning “Ten Penny Reserve” (silver medal GIBF 2009), and aged it for over eight months in Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey barrels. A Scottish wee-heavy, the beer is smooth and malty with a hint of smoke, the time in the barrels has enabled the beer to pick up notes of oak, vanilla, and whiskey.

“Amazing Grace” will be released throughout our distribution area in striking 500ml cobalt blue flip-top bottles. Approximately 200 cases will be available in the initial release; another batch is already in the barrels for the next release in 6 months.
