According to Three Floyds Brewing‘s Twitter feed, the brewery sent out palettes of its fresh hop beer, BrooDoo, yesterday. It’s also on tap at the brewpub now. The brewery posted some videos on hop selection earlier in the week.

…From Pyramid Brewing‘s latest newsletter: “The biggest Pyramid Party of the year is right around the corner. Celebrate the return of our longest running seasonal, Snow Cap, at the Seattle Alehouse on October 9th at 7pm. Party all night under the big top, win hundreds of prizes and listen to two of the Northwest’s hottest new bands: The Moondoggies and Thao with the Get Down Stay Down. Purchase your tickets now and we’ll knock $3 off admission.”

…From Great Divide Brewing‘s Facebook page, “Rocktober 8th, Hibernation and Fresh Hop release party 6-9pm in the brewhouse. $15 admission includes 4 drink tickets and 2 food tickets from our friends at GastroCart.” Fresh Hop is available through November whereas Hibernation is available through January. Oak Aged Yeti also returns this month (available through January).

Also of note, the brewery’s Saison-style beer, Colette Farmhouse Ale, won a silver medal at GABF.

Duvel Tripel Hop is back and now available in stores but reportedly at a price point in the high teens. More info over on Belgian Beer Board.

…Finally, according to local reports, Green Flash Brewing has signed a lease on a new space in San Diego. It’s right across from a school and I’m sure they are thrilled about that (sarcasm). The Motorola offices on the other side have to be pretty pumped though. Not too many details have surfaced yet.

  1. I didn’t know they grew fresh hops in Munster! Let me guess – behind Charley’s on Calumet???????

I’ll admit – I’d love to taste this. Not that I want to slam FFFs again. I just like to stay current.
