(Lake Mills, WI) – Tyranena Brewing announced a new brew in the Brewers Gone Wild! Series yesterday.

According to Tyranena Owner and Brewmaster, Rob Larson, Tyranena Shaggin’ in the Wood isn’t expected to be available until February 2011.

The label describes the beer as a blend of 70% Scotch Ale aged in Bourbon barrels and 30% Scotch Ale: “The rich caramel and toffee flavors of Sheep Shagger Scotch Ale symphonize with the oak, bourbon and vanilla flavors bestowed by the barrel.”

I made the mistake of typing “Shaggin’ in the Wood” into Google a little while ago without adding the word, “Tyranena.” Half of the search results related to the Tiger Woods scandal though Larson said that it played no part in naming the beer.
