(Bar Harbor, ME) – I knew it seemed odd to see an Octoberfest beer get label approval in November…since they all seem to come out in August these days. Joking aside, if the note on RateBeer is any indication, it is too little too late for this one: “Only available on tap in 3 Bar Harbor locations. Not bottled due to problems with labeling.” Maybe it was semantics or maybe the picture just spooked the jobbers over at the TTB. An email is out to the brewery to see whether there is any Atlantic Octoberfaust left on tap. If not, there are still a number of bottles available in the gift shop including Brother Adams Bragget, a rare example in the style.

Bar Harbor also happens to be home to one of the state’s most famous beers, Cadillac Mountain Stout.
