What a great beer! I did not know what a “Shandy” style was and was surprised with the intense lime flavor in my first sip. A lucky pairing, I picked it to wash down some spicy quesadillas for dinner. It’s been awhile since I had a Miller Chill, but from what I remember about it, this Shandy is a bit better. A very light-body and fizzy carbonation make it a great, refreshing, summer “lawnmower beer.” Now onto the 3 other styles in the Brewers Collection…
Very light and refreshing. Has a sweetness to it but not overpowering. Unlike some of the others in the mix, I don’t detect that distinct Labatts’ flavor – don’t get me wrong I like the taste of blue/blue light but in the mix I’m looking for something different, above and beyond. This one hits the spot.
