[Press Release:]

(Gloucester, MA) – Cape Ann Brewing Company (CABC) is excited to announce the release of its newest offering, the Reel Easy IPA. The Reel Easy delivers a slightly hazy, straw-blonde beer with ample body and is a sessionable, juicy New England Style IPA. CABC uses a process called ‘Hop-Bursting’ to create an in-your-face aroma and flavor without overpowering the palate with bitterness. By dry-hopping twice, the hop-forward character is ensured to please even the biggest hop-heads.

Beginning its quest for the perfect New England-style IPA, CABC made test batches under their Forge Series label, which was available only on draft on-site at The Pub and select location in the Boston/North Shore area this past summer. Available in 12 ounce cans, the Reel Easy comes in at 4.6% ABV and will initially only be available for retail in twelve packs and only in Massachusetts.

CABC is focused on producing the highest quality, true-to-style beers by using only the finest ingredients. We are excited to release this new IPA edition to our packaged products and feel that the Reel Easy is a great compliment to the Cape Ann Brewing lineup.” said Jeremy Goldberg, owner of CABC. “This is a great beer to enjoy with friends. Just sit back and Reel Easy!”
