(Abita Springs, LA) – Abita Brewing revealed this week a future new beer release: Abita Grapefruit Harvest IPA.

The beer which is a par-for-the-course 6% on the ABV scale is the second new introduction for Abita this year after Abita Lemon Wheat.

Unlike that beer, in which the announcement was within a month of its release, we get a five-month notice with GHI which will be released in December.

In other recent news, Abita broke ground last month on a $12 million expansion project that will bring annual capacity to 360,000 barrels.
