Here is something else you may not have known: Anchor brewmaster, Mark Carpenter, who has been with the company for 40 years entered “semi-retirement” in late 2012. The Brewing Network had Carpenter on for an episode in mid-January in which he discussed his new life.

Mike Lee and Bruce Joseph were also on-hand for the episode and have picked up some of Carpenter’s responsibilities at the brewery.

An Anchor spokesperson confirmed that Carpenter still works for the brewery and retains the title of Brewmaster.
