(Boynton Beach, FL) – Due South Brewing Co. is pleased to present the celebration of the German festival of Oktoberfest on October 11, 12 and 13 at its brewery and taproom in Boynton Beach, FL. A charity auction for Warm Hearts Pet Rescue will also be held on Saturday during the event.
During the three days Due South will be pouring its own traditionally made Oktoberfest marzen lager. Additionally, Due South will release bottles for the first time ever. Bottles released will include Northern Exposure (Caramel Cream Ale with maple), Isle of MaGourdo (a pumpkin ale) and the highly anticipated Category 5 IPA. Each bottled beer will be released on a specific day. Special cask treatments of Due South beers will be showcased as well. Each day Due South will feature a South Florida food truck to provide dining options for festival goers. Scheduled trucks include Bella Cucina, Lucille’s on Wheels, Dough Bros Pretzels and Curbside Gourmet.
A silent auction will be held on Saturday afternoon to benefit the Warm Hearts Pet Rescue of Boynton Beach. 100% of the auction proceeds will be donated to this no-kill facility. Among the items being auctioned, Due South is offering numbered bottles from the very first beers ever produced at Boynton’s first and only brewery. Sweetwater Bar & Grill has also contributed dinner for two lucky winners to enjoy with Due South’s owner and brewer, Mike Halker.
