Rare Beer Club Beer of the Month Club info for March is now available. This month, you are eligible to get your hands on Upright, Anchorage, Jester King, Sly Fox and Brasserie Artisanale et Didactique du Flo. How? More info below…
1. Coupon codes are the same this month as they were last month.
BEERPULSE10 – $10 off ANY Beer Club Membership
BEERPULSE15 – $15 off ANY prepaid Beer Club Membership of 6 months or longer
BEERPULSE25 – $25 off ANY prepaid 12 month Beer Club Membership
As a new subscriber, you will get each of the following beers…
“The hops are quite evident, but it’s not a bombastic PacNW hop monster (not that there’s anything wrong with that), rather, we have a softer, more perfumy quality wafting about. Though there is a form of extreme hopping at play here—Xanthohumol, a cancer-fighting compound found only in hops—has been added to the beer in doses at least ten times higher than that typically found in beer. […] Oregon is full of great beer, and you pretty much have to be within the state to get this beer on tap, or, nearby in the 2 others that may have it in the bottle. ”
3. March selection #2: Cuvée du Flo Blonde
“Its appearance in the Rare Beer Club represents the very first time that it has been distributed outside of the small Belgian region where it’s made. As you read about earlier, this is handmade by a very small brewery, and even though there will be a little bit available outside of our club, there’s just not much to go around, so this will remain a difficult to come by brew. In addition, our members will get it approximately 4 months before it can be found, in very limited quantities, elsewhere in the US.”
4. Want to read more about these two breweries and these two selections?
5. Substitutions available!
Don’t want one of those beers? Or both? Last month’s two offerings are still available for ordering: Anchorage Galaxy White IPA (Anchorage was named RateBeer’s Top New Brewery in the World for 2011) and Sly Fox Ichor Quadruple. Existing Rare Beer Club members already know the drill. New members just need to call and specify the two beers they want after placing their order online.
6. Curious what kinds of beers you will see as a club member?
7. Sounds good. When is the deadline for ordering?
March 15th 11:59pm EST (could be PST but let’s play it safe). Order now.
7. And what about Jester King Craft Brewery?
Those who are existing members or join up BEFORE MARCH 12TH will have another brewery they are eligible for…Jester King Brewery. This is an additional offer apart from the other one. The four beers that you will have a chance to order are:
Jester King Black Metal Farmhouse Imperial Stout
Jester King Noble King Hoppy Farmhouse Ale
Jester King Wytchmaker Farmhouse Rye India Pale Ale
Jester King Mad Meg Farmhouse Provision Ale
Members will have until MARCH 19TH to order these ones.
More info on this program will come next week.
8. How many beers come in each monthly shipment?
You can order a no-obligation ongoing membership or a prepaid membership. There is no cancellation fee. 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. There are three different membership levels:
Platinum – (6) – 750 ml. bottles each month, three bottles of two different beers. $68.95 plus $18.00 S&H per month.
Gold – (4) – 750 ml. bottles each month, two bottles of two different beers. $51.95 plus $15.00 S&H per month.
Silver – (2) – 750 ml. bottles each month, one bottle of two different beers. $31.95 plus $13.00 S&H per month.
9. What if I don’t like the beers in any given month?
Skip it! There is flexibility in terms of how often you choose to receive beers and what beers you receive. Personal and gift memberships can be shipped monthly, every other month, quarterly or even on specific months.
Rare Beer Club personal memberships are given additional flexibility through their Future Shipment Update (FSU) Program. Members are sent an email at the beginning of the month detailing the two upcoming selections and a form that allows them to either skip the entire shipment, skip only one of the beers, or add more bottles of either the featured beers or their favorite past selections. In short, you’ll never get a beer you didn’t want as a personal member.
Memberships can also be ordered to give as beer gifts as opposed to just for yourself.
10. Additional note from Adam:
Seriously, kill two birds with one stone. Doing business with sponsors like the Rare Beer Club is a great way to support Beernews.org AND get yourself some beer at the same time. While comments are closed on sponsored posts, I encourage you to send me direct feedback about how the RBC and other sponsors are doing when you order from them. I have no hand in the fulfillment process so it is kind of out of my sight after a post goes up. I do occasionally see feedback out in public forums but just wanted to open up a line of communication between you, the reader, and myself. Cheers! Adam
