Beer labels: Bell’s, Samuel Adams, Cigar City, Harpoon, Red Brick, Good People and more

What is that, Bell’s Brewery? You’re doing 750s now, too?

Update: I’ve been known to use the word, “upcoming,” a little too loosely. A Bell’s Brewery tweet in January said that “barrels of Black Note are maturing for 2011. No date set.” It would be more accurate to call it a “future” release than an upcoming release. Apologies for the confusion. Marketing Manager, Laura Bell, confirmed in an update on Beer Advocate that the brewery will make an announcement in the next few weeks regarding a Eccentric Cafe-only 750ml bottle program.

Bell’s Sparkling Ale: Bell’s appears to be re-introducing this beer in 750s. Interesting timing given that nearby Founders made an announcement about its own 750s program this week. The label says 1,200 bottles were produced in February, 2011, but that may mean nothing. With the upcoming future release of Black Note, one has to wonder whether Bell’s is starting up a 750 program of its own.

Other new labels that were approved:

Samuel Adams Bonfire Rauchbier (looks like they settled on a name)
Cigar City Minaret ESB (draft)
Red Brick Double IPA
Harpoon UFO Pumpkin
Good People Snake Handler Double IPA
5 Lizard Latin-style Witbier
River Horse Hippo-lantern Imperial Pumpkin

3 Sheets to the Wind (official beer of the American Rover)
Olde Meck Capt. James Jack Pilsner
